More Recorded Webinar Options Available!
No approval codes needed for these department webinars aimed at easier board member training!
In response to feedback from county boards, the Department of Developmental Disabilities is working to make CBDD board member training even easier and more accessible.

The department has identified nine webinars available on-demand in our webinar catalog that offer useful information to CBDD board members and can satisfy the required two hours of in-service training from DODD ( 5123:2-1-13 ).
Among the nine recorded webinars specified as training, board members will find

-IO Waiver Nursing

-Ohio Shared Living

-Trauma Informed Care

-Conflict Free Case Management

In the Webinar Catalog
   1. Click the Audience column

   2. Choose M for Board Member

    3. Your screen will refresh with the board member training options

As always, county board certificate managers or superintendents must maintain documentation of completed board member training.

That might include

- A sign-in sheet for recorded webinars viewed as a group

- An email in which the board member attests to watching one of the recorded webinars targeted for board member training.

Continuing professional development (CPD) credits, approval numbers or certificates are not required as proof of completion for board member training.
