Dave Brown passed away in his home with his loved ones by his side on January 30, 2021. He was born in Bronx, New York on April 13, 1933 and he was raised in East Liverpool, Ohio by his parents Jack and Dolores. His education included a B.A. from the University of Mount Union, an M.A. from Case Western Reserve University, and further studies towards a doctorate at the University of Minnesota.
