  • ASPIRE Clinic

    ASPIRE legal problem solvers can assist clients through providing information and advice about legal concerns. Our providers typically engage in a process called “pre-lawyering,” a way to access preliminary information and guidance on legal problems, perhaps even before hiring an attorney. We do not take cases to court and cannot act as your legal representative, but our providers can help you understand your rights and negotiate for you to reach solutions.

    COVID-19 related assistance: If any of the following statements applies to you, you may be eligible for assistance with a portion of your rent or a utility bill:

    • ​My hours have been cut by my employer due to the Coronavirus.

    • I have been let go from my job due to lack of work / Coronavirus.

    • I have tested positive for COVID-19 and am unable to work.

    • My employer and/or my doctor has ordered me to self-quarantine due to COVID-19 exposure.

    If you meet these initial criteria, please call the Ark for a list of documentation needed and to make a virtual appointment. Open Monday-Friday between 9am and 12:30pm to take calls.

    Emergency shelter each night for up to 15 guests. To reserve a bed for the night, please call the shelter at 4:00pm and use extension 2. The first 15 callers will be scheduled.

    We are offering to-go dinners each day at 6:00pm. We are only able to provide a limited number of dinners, so we recommend calling at 4:00pm and dialing extension 2 to reserve a meal.

    We are offering afternoon showers and laundry from 1:00pm to 4:00pm Thursday-Sunday on an appointment basis. You can schedule a shower and/or laundry services by stopping by the shelter.
