Goodbye, Creekwood?

The pull to leave Creekwood and join my best friends continues to grow stronger with each day but the thread holding me here is tight, too…maybe tighter.
When my past finally collides with my present, revealing a blind spot I never knew I had, it only makes my choice that much harder.
I thought I could add to my perfectly calculated life without upsetting the outcome. I thought I could protect the people I love most.

And now, somebody’s gotta pay.
With everything I’ve ever cared about on the line—including her—I can’t afford to lose.

I absolutely loveeed this book!! Perfect way to end this series, and i am gonna miss all these characters so much 😭😭😭. Coty and Angela were my favs but Marc..holy fuck Marc 😭😭 i am gonna cry. He is so perfect, so respectful and so amazing. After reading Detour i waited for Marc’s book desperately because he was such a mysterious character, he hides his feelings and i thought that he ll be that jerk kinda guy but i was so wrong, Marc is so sweet but also has that alpha vibe. Our heroine Bentlee was also awesome, she has her own issues to deal with but she was exactly what Marc needed. Their story was sweet, emotional, fantastic. I need more 😭. I loved the way Marc was so possessive of her, there was an instant connection between the two and their chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥. Ok seriously tho, A.Marie i need another book for them. Marc and Bentlee had their problems but they saw and accepted each other for who they are. They helped each other to overcome their demons. I loved their humour, especially Jealous Marc 😂 he was funny and so angry when he saw someone else with Bentlee, but what i love about his character was that he was very very respectful towards Bentlee which i dont normally see in a hero. He always put her first and made sure she was comfortable, he was always there for her no matter what 🥺🥺 i love Marc. The friendship between Beck, Marc and Coty was so precious, i always loved their bonding from the beginning of the series and all of these guys are so good, they are good guys...idk how to explain but like they respect people a lot especially their girlfriends. I really dont see this in books usually which is why i was surprised to see Marc the bad boy being a gentleman kinda. The things he said to Bentlee *swoon* 😫 i swear i can read like 100 more books where Marc just talk cuz the way He talks, god, wow. It might not seem so special but idk why i loved it.

What a great end to this series!

Marc is hott. I have had a crush on him sense the first book! Quiet, brooding, mysterious. He’s so much and more. He has lots of secrets, but a giant stubborn heart.

Bentlee is unexpected! And how she fits into everything was awesome! I loved how she interlinked! She also keeps her heart and past guarded.

These two are just magnets being pulled together and they create a lot of steam 😆🔥

You get all the past characters who you love, the one liners that have you rolling, secrets, twists, and emotions.

And then that epilogue 😍😭 gave me everything I wanted.

I received an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a great end to this series about the Creekwood boys! I loved Angela and Coty the best but Marc and Bentlee were a close second! Marc was the mysterious one in many ways. I’m the first two books we were left to wonder what he was up to. And in this book we truly learn about him and what kind of person he is. We also meet Bentlee and her adorable son Hunter. Bentlee has overcome a lot in her young life and she has done it admirably and with so much strength. There are a few surprises in this book and just when you think everything may turn out ok there is a twist that is surprising and heartbreaking. This is such a great series and I’m so glad I found this author. I can’t wait to see what’s next from her!

My heart is so sad that this series is over!!! Ugh. I fell in love with Marc the same way A. Marie had me fall in love with every single creekwood boy. This book is no exception. It even passed all expectations. My only regret is not being able to read the entire series again for the first time. LOL. It’s hot and steamy, while also making you cry. Would recommend to everyone to read. ❤️

I had the absolute privilege of reading this book early and IT WAS EVERYTHING.

A. Marie outdid herself with this story! Her best work yet, and that is saying a lot since I consider all her work phenomenal.

This books is about the broody, mysterious and steadfast Marc Vega and the woman that changes everything for him.

Marc is the Creekwood guy who everyone wants to know, but the type of guy that keeps most people at a distance. There are only a select few whom he lets into his inner circle and even fewer who know his secrets. I loved how we get to see the “real” Marc Vega - the man behind the intimidating stare. His personal journey and growth in this book is profound. We see him struggle as he tries to keep his life status quo, while also battling his secret yearning for a different type of life, one with “more” in its future.

Bentlee is THAT WOMAN! The type you feel instantly connected to. The one you want to immediately know and be friends with. There is just something about her that draws you in…that drew Marc in. Her story isn’t easy and I adore how we get to see her overcome her past, fight tooth and nail for her future, and finally get the one thing she has always secretly wanted.

Together these two provided a story that was emotional, real, and absolutely steamy! I was hooked from start to finish.

If you are looking for something genuine, with terrific characters that have amazing chemistry, and that is full of wit and banter, then this book is for you!

I LOVE this Creekwood gang and I am so sad that this series is over! Please A. Marie….give us more 🙏.

P.S. Marc Vega is MINE! M.I.N.E.!!

Marc has been my favorite character in the Creekwood series from the start and this book solidified my adoration for him. Quiet, brooding, a little mysterious, smokin' hot and incredibly loyal. What more could you want in a book boyfriend?

Blind Spot was a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish! My heart bled for the heroine Bentlee. She was dealing with some extremely difficult trauma while trying to create a better life for her son. She was so strong and intense, trying her hardest to overcome her past and prove her worth to herself and others. At her core, she was a protective mother that put her son first in all of her decisions and actions. The love she had for her child shined through this entire read. I don't normally enjoy young children in romance stories but this one was a major exception.

Marcos proved over and over again that while he may be reserved and somewhat standoffish, he was fiercely loyal and deeply compassionate. He wore an armor to shield himself, and not many people got to see him take it off. While he desperately wanted Bentlee to SEE all of him, he kept a big secret to protect others. I couldn't understand why until the very last moment, when the chaos took place and all was revealed. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I also appreciated the way his "family" reacted to everything. It unfolded perfectly.

I loved how the author threw in elements of secrecy and kept you on your toes the entire read. I was left wondering and guessing up until the final chapters. This helped the story move quickly and I felt as though I couldn't read it fast enough. The main characters were amazing. The supporting characters (especially Beckett) were hilarious and supportive. The family dynamic for both Marc and Bentlee was fractured, creating a tense portrayal of what it's like to try to get out from under your family's shadow and not follow the life path you were born into. Blind Spot was a solid 4 star read for me. I'm a little sad to see the end of the Creekwood boys but I can't wait to see what other amazing stories this author comes up with in the future!

SO good. I fell in love with another Creekwood boy!!

I love the Creekwood boys and was anxiously awaiting Marcs’ story…it was everything I wanted and so much more. Marc has been this illusive character in the earlier books in this series and here we get glimpses of him and his life. We learn his secrets, or what we think are his secrets because this story is written so well that you don’t really know until the author lets you know. I was shocked, stunned and fell even more in love with Marc. There is nothing better than realizing that the man you thought was good is actually amazingly perfect.

Marc and Bentlee are perfection. This connection that neither wants (or has time for) that can’t be ignored. Watching their lives become intertwined until they can’t be separated was oh so good. The banter, the push & pull, the STEAM and the falling in love. What got me the most was the worry that secrets, albeit such good/important/amazing secrets, could end up keeping two perfect people apart, my heart couldn’t take it but the author just gives us this big and beautiful and amazing love story.

Add in the amazing Creekwoods family and laughter and babies and Beckett and I laughed, I teared up and I absolutely fell in love with another Creekwood boy. I am SO sad this is the last book in this series. I promise the last scene between Marc, Bentlee and Hunter will make you openly sob like I did from the pure and ferocious love this story gives us. It’s SO good. You are missing out if you don’t read this book.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "BLIND SPOT". This was an awesome ending to the Creekwood Series each book just got better full of intrigue, mystery, secrets, heartache, past emotional trauma, surprises, twists that make for a very enjoyable addicting read.
Marc has always been a little aloof, brooding, mysterious, had secrets, quiet, but has a huge heart we get to learn more about him he more than what he appears.
Bentlee & her adorable little son Hunter have been through alot her strenghth is admirable someone so young has overcome past trauma which has her guarding her heart.
Marc & Bentlee has this push pull kind of relationship like a rollercoaster ride, their banter back & forth was funny both have walls up around their hearts can they be broken down to get a HEA.
I definitely recommend to get this extremely well written book so well worth the read I loved the heartwarming ending that had me in tears with Marc, Bentlee & Hunter you could truly feel the deep fierce love they had for one another a must have book for sure the entire series was awesome.

Five golden stars for Marc and Bentlee!

Marc's story was the perfect ending to the Creekwood series!
He's always been that broody, mysterious boy, and let's face it, I can't pass up a broody and mysterious boy.

But his story is so much more than that. I couldn't wait to dive in and see what made him so closed off, and secretive and I wasn't disappointed!

This book was filled with all the emotion I've come to expect in Ashley's stories.
She gave us all the feels through Marc and Bentlee's love unfolding and their individual stories that delve deeper into who they each are as people.

I can't get enough of the writing, and the way it so effortlessly draws me in and keeps me captivated until the very end.

Until the next one, A. Marie! Keep those fingers writing because I'll read it all!

Solid Final Book in the Creekwood Series

I couldn’t wait for Marc’s story, and it was worth the wait! I loved uncovering all the secrets he had. And Bentlee — she was so layered and complex. They both were, which made their journey to each other so much more satisfying. And the ending — a great wrap up to the series.

There are some fun moments, some steamy moments, and some sweet moments, too. I loved seeing these two come into themselves and open their hearts. And the kids were adorable! (I won’t give anything away.)

Plus, if you loved the other Creekwood books, you get a lot more of those characters, too!

A satisfying ending to the series. Five stars!

Thanks to the author for the ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

A. Marie did it again. I’m in awe of my friend. I knew she was kind and hilarious but she’s a badass author too. Her books are SO GOOD. Oh man, be prepared to feel all the feels… I finished Blind Spot with happy tears. You can expect steam, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. You’ll fall in love with Marc, of course you will, but Bentlee is just as great. Fans of romance will love Blind Spot. Content warning for themes of domestic abuse.

I love this series and I love you, Ashley! I’m sad Creekwood is finished, but BEYOND excited to see what you come out with next. Happy book birthday to you and Blind Spot 🥳🥳🥳

I didn’t think I’d like any of the guys more than Coty but Marc…Marcos mf Vega had my heart from the jump. His relationship with Kary was something that made me question everything in the previous 2 books but it all came together and he did his best at doing right for children that he owed nothing to. His character development was amazing 🥰
Bentlee was too relatable…she was trying to heal from what so many women go through and many don’t find the courage to leave before it is too late. I absolutely loved Bentlee and Marc the most.

The last book in the series is Marc’s book. Marc meets Bentlee and is immediately drawn to her. The strong quiet Marc finally gets his HEA and the journey isn’t an easy one. We finally learn his relationship with the apartment manager and learn Marc’s other secrets. This book will make you blush and your heart soar. I don’t want the series to end but everything was wrapped up nicely. Except now I want a Hunter and Rebel book!

I have had the privilege of editing this series for A Marie and I can honestly tell you that Blind Spot is the best in the series hands down! And if you've read the first two books - they are pretty amazing. I knew Marc's book would be special, and that he would be my favorite because of his mysterious and broody persona. He has always been a rock within this Creekside family - the silent protector with a serious demeanor and a face that oozes sex appeal, and I WAS HERE FOR IT in Blind Spot!

From the first to the last scene this book had me glued to the pages not only with the hot chemistry between Marc & Bentlee, but also with its wit, humor, amazing side characters (especially Beckett's humor), and the inner battles going on with both the hero and heroine. There are also a couple of surprise characters who steal the scenes and provide pivotal and emotional moments - and you can't help but fall in love with them.

This is a story about overcoming demons, standing up for yourself, and standing up for others when they can't. It's about accepting help when you least want it, and that unconditional love can be found outside of immediate family. The pull between Marc & Bentlee is undeniable, their history runs deep, and they both have walls around their hearts. But Marc's protective and possessive self is SO HOT!!! His determination and loyalty is unwavering, and this man will leave you sighing and swooning and just wanting more of him!!

The road to Marc & Bentlee's HEA is a roller coaster, but I will tell you that I was crying tears of joy at the end, and every rocky moment getting there was worth it. You will laugh, sigh, swoon and find yourself flipping the pages faster than you can manage to follow this broken couple's journey to their HEA.

Bravo A Marie for creating characters who are real and genuine, witty and entertaining, selfless and emotional, and just plain HOT!! ;) As much as I loved Marc & Bentlee - Coty, Beckett, Angela & Paige all contribute to this fantastic story, and I'm not ready to say goodbye to this world. Well done once again!

I had the pleasure to beta read Blind Spot and I fell so hard for Marc!! He is cool and collected, not one to wear his emotions on his sleeve.

Wanting more than what is expected of him, Marc is forging his own way. He does what he wants and doesn’t answer to anyone. This has never been a problem until her. Bentlee walks into his life and he wants a life with her, but won’t come clean about his secrets.

And it’s not only him keeping secrets. Bentlee has her own closet full of them. She’s protecting her heart and her spunky son. She’s now working twice as hard to make up for her past decisions.

The push and pull between Marc and Bentlee is perfect— the hesitancy, the need, the want, the fear, the doubt.

I highly recommend this book!!

Nice read.

I was recommended this book when I asked for a book with a possessive...I'll ☠️ if you look at my woman book. This wasn't as over the top alpha male as I'm use to but still very good book. First time author for me...very much enjoyed her writing style.

Things I liked :
Marcos fell fast and hard for Emalee.
He was great with her son Hunter.
He inserted himself everywhere just to be near Emalee.
When Emalees parents kicked her out Marcos not only moved her and Hunter in with him ( without asking) ... he bought Hunter a new bedroom set and more just so they would be comfortable.
Hunter didn't have any friends..Marcos knew he loved animals so he built Hunter a petting zoo including a bull that Hunter had help raised but was being sold off to the butcher.
Great group of friends.
Emalee was a great mother.

Things I didn't like
Marcos was head over heels for Emalee and wanted her whole heart..wanted to secrets..but yet he was keeping a big one...not only from her but from all his friends..This secret almost tore up the whole group. Luckily the author quickly resolved it.

Spoiler Below*****

So your gonna tell me that Marcos never was friends with Kary but became familiar w when she was those landlady. Was never friends with her..never ever any romantic but yet he one day runs across Kary and she has a 1 year old (Rebel)...one look at adorable lil Rebel and he decides to be like a surrogate dad to her. He hardly ever talked to the mom but is a dad to this little girl. So much so that he was going to build the mom and Lil girl a house on his acres to protect them both from the birth father. Again not friends with the mom just one day saw a cute kid and said hmmm I think I'll step in as a dad...and never let anyone know. Idk I loved that he had such a big heart but he almost screwed up everyone's life because of it.

And what happens with Ty? I hope he gets a book.

So sad to say goodbye to Creekwood.

Beckett’s been my favorite since book one, but I have to say that Ashley saved the best for last.

I loved the love story for Marcos (never Marcus). It had everything I’ve loved throughout the series, sharp wit, found family and an intriguing love interest.

Everyone loves a brooding leading man. That is if the brooding has a real meaning and boy oh boy is Rebel a good reason.

And Bentlee is a great love interest.

I hope to see the Creekwood crew sometime in the future when Ashley hears them talking to her.

I can’t wait to see what’s next from her.

I loved the whole series & all three mmc’s, but this book was my favourite. I knew from book one, Marc would be the one for me. I just didn’t know quite how much I’d love him.
Although Angela was my favourite fmc, I really liked Baylee & Paige too.
I normally don’t appreciate kids being part of a story, but this one worked for me. Where I normally find them distracting or just a pointless excuse to try and expand the plot, I actually found both Hunter & Rebel added so much to this book.
Fantastic series, highly recommend.

This third book in the Creekwood world was such a delight to read! I’m Blind Spot we get to see behind the scenes into Marc’s solemn quietness that was so present in the first two books. The storytelling is rich, and the plot keeps you guessing all the way til the end. The ultimate happily ever after for Marc and the Creekwood family.

Marccccc❤️❤️ the only way this man could’ve been any better is if we got more of a glimpse into his family life and how that affected his adulthood. I related to Bentlee in terms of her past relationship and the insecurities but I loved how that didn’t necessarily kill her spark. I love the family that was built and how all the pieces fit together. I really enjoyed this book and this series.
