About this ebook

Cori Ross is thanking her lucky stars. Sure, her long-time boyfriend just dumped her, but that’s a good thing. In her rush to find Mr. Right, she realizes she almost settled for Mr. Just Okay. And that’s definitely not okay. So, tonight, she’s out with her friends at the Breakup Bash—a private party for women celebrating their break-ups—and she’s actually celebrating. Still, it was too close a call. So she makes a deal with herself—no guys for six months.

Unfortunately, just as she’s leaving the club, she runs into her old boyfriend, Grey Latham—the guy she’d always wanted to be Mr. Right. Great. What a time to swear off guys. Maybe she needs to change the deal—no relationships for six months. There’s no reason why she can’t have a fling, right? Because Grey still holds the title of the best sex she’s ever had.

There’s no way this could go wrong. Grey is on his way to international DJ fame—he’s only in town for a short time, and then he’ll be gone again. No harm in burning up the sheets while it lasts.

Too bad neither expected what happened next...

The Last Rule of Makeups is Cori's story for followers of the gal pals and the Breakup Bash Series. For newbies, it's a chance to see a second chance love story for the one who got away. While the series has been fun and had some steamy interludes, I felt like Cori wasn't being true to herself. She held back in some places and was completely unrestrained in others. For a woman who knew her ex sooo well, she brushed aside his dreams and future. It didn't feel genuine. Or maybe it's just me. Perhaps I read too many books... Whatever the reason, I loved Grey and am glad he got everything he deserved

The Last Rule of Makeups is the third book in Nina Crespo's Breakup Bash series and features Cori, who, after being dumped by her long-term boyfriend Kevin attends a breakup bash with friends Alexa and Nat, and decides that the best way to get over her ex is to get under someone else. And that someone else happens to be Grey an ex she let get away. But one night with him isn't enough and soon Cori finds herself in danger of making the same mistakes with Grey as she did before. And it certainly was a satisfying story. That was fast-paced and easy to read, and frankly, I was engaged throughout. So, if you're looking for a quick, second chance romance that's uncomplicated and entertaining, you should definitely check The Last Rule of Makeups out. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review**

4 Star review of The Last Rule of Makeups by Nina Crespo Nina Crespo is a relatively new author to me. The Last Rule of Makeups is not a particularly long book but Ms. Crespo packed a fair bit into it. This is Cori and Grey’s second chance at love story and what an entertaining read it was. Having been recently dumped by her boyfriend, Cori is out celebrating her new found single status with her friends. The last thing she expects is to bump in to another ex boyfriend Grey. The chemistry between Cori and Grey is just as intense as it used to be, the only thing that broke them up was that they were both going in different directions. The relationship between Cori and Grey is a complex one. When they broke up it was not a bad breakup, it was a parting of ways. They both bring out the good in one another but can they support each other or are they destined to be pulled about by circumstances again? How many times do you take a chance? I really liked Grey, I fell for him hard and fast. The story was fun and I found myself invested in the story that Ms. Crespo wove.

About the author

Nina Crespo lives in Florida where she indulges in her favorite passions -- the beach, kick boxing, a good glass of wine, date night with her own real-life hero and dancing. Her lifelong addiction to romance began in her teens while on a "borrowing spree" in her older sister's bedroom where she discovered her first romance novel. Curiosity about people and places, including what's beyond the stars, fuels her writer's imagination. This wellspring of inspiration allows Nina to create sensual contemporary stories and steamy paranormal tales, which she hopes will feed your own addiction for love, romance, and happily ever after.
