Hi I’m NaomiRAG. I’ve been crocheting 6ft-24ft yarn installations since 2014, mostly flowers. Pretty soon after I started people started to ask how they could be involved. I continue to make large flowers just on my own but I also now work on collaborations where others can make smaller pieces that are then sewn together to make a large installation. The 20ft butterfly was made using 463 orange knitted and crochet 6&quot; squares made my women in the East Harlem neighborhood. Everyone knows what square was theirs and it is a JOY to see how proud people are to be part of such a large scale project. I am now reaching out to ask for financial support to enable me to continue to do this street art within the neighborhood I have come to call home.
