We invite you to register for Building the Field of Teen Healthy Relationships: Second National Forum, hosted by the Canadian Women’s Foundation and funded by Status of Women Canada.

The Canadian Women’s Foundation is hosting, in partnership with Building the Field Leadership Roundtable, a second National Forum on the field of Teen Healthy Relationships in the Canadian context. The purpose of this meeting will be to create opportunities for further collaboration across sectors and regions, and develop national strategy recommendations to strengthen and enhance the field nationally. This forum will bring together relevant stakeholders from across the country, from the areas of teen healthy relationships programming, research, government and policy, and funders.

June 4 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
June 5 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

As this is an action planning meeting we request that all registrants commit to attending both days.

If you are able to come to Winnipeg early, we welcome you to join us in participating at the Two-Spirit Pow Wow on Saturday June 2, 2018 and marching in the Pride Parade on Sunday June 3, 2018.

Fees:

There is no fee to register to attend the Building the Field National Forum, however participants are financially responsible for the cost of their travel and accommodations. Spaces are limited to one participant per organization.

Subsidies:

There are small bursaries available for delegates from community organizations who require financial support to attend. Priority will be given to organizations with small budgets, people representing underserved communities, and those from rural and remote locations. Please indicate that you are interested in a bursary when you register for the forum.

Travel & Accommodations:
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own travel and accommodation for the conference. The Canadian Women's Foundation has arranged a corporate rate at the conference venue. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
