Hey Y’all!
The first Paint-A-Flower Edition of 2022! The Camellia Waterhouse! What a beautiful flower to color! I hope you got here to me from Rebecca Sogn
Watercolor is my favorite medium to work with, and the PAF stamps sets are great for that. However, Altenew designs theirs especially for watercolor, alcohol inks, colored pencils and other coloring mediums.
My card-
As you can see I water colored the floral images and the background. I used the 36 Pan Watercolor set along with the Obsidian Black Pigment Ink to emboss the images and sentiment.
Add some interest!
One of the things I did here was to “fussy” cut my image and place it on top of the card panel after the panel was dry from the background color and the ink splatters. For the last bit of detail I added some washi tape on the bottom of the card to create a bit of balance.
