CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Indivisible Iowa group held a small protest in Cedar Rapids Tuesday expressing their concern over the state law banning schools from implementing mask mandates.
The few there were advocating for the kids and held signs saying "keep our kids safe" and "kids don't want to die."
The group say there are no "both sides" and that masks do work.
Organizers hope with enough support the governor will repeal the ban and follow the CDC's recommendations.
Those who were unable to attend were encouraged to contact state offices and voice their concerns.
