How to play Neighborle?

You will be presented one country or territory every day. Your task is to select its neighboring territories from the dropdown. In each game, you will start with 5 lives, allowing you to make maximum 4 mistakes.

Clicking on the icon will give you a hint by allowing you to guess a country from four options, of which one will be a neighbor you're looking for. Beware that asking for a hint will cost you one life, a wrong answer will cost you another one.

You can hide the borders under settings (⚙️). This will make it more challenging for you to list the neighbors.

Neighborle Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain and USA offer you to play Neighborle on the states/counties/regions of these countries. These versions are unlimited, no restriction of one game a day applies.

Two countries are considered neighboring if they share a land border or are connected by a bridge.

Which countries/territories are featured in the game?

Borders and even country names can change, we aim to keep our maps up to date as fast as possible. The CIA World Factbook is used as a reference for disputed areas.

Neighborle Great Britain uses England's Ceremonial Counties, Scotland's Lieutenancy Areas and Wales' Preserved Counties.

When can I play the next country?

A new country will become available at midnight of your local timezone. The country specific versions of Neighborle are unlimited, you can request another game as often as you want.

Which country specific versions are available?

Country specific versions of Neighborle are available for some countries. Currently, you can play Neighborle on the maps of Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain and the USA.

Can transfer my gameplay history to another device?

No. The statistics on your gameplay are stored in your browser. Transferring them to another device is currently not supported.
