Trader Joe's Peppermint Bark is described as"old fashioned and handmade" and for the most part lives up to it's billing. We have tried a few Peppermint Bark's over the years and this one is above average. It is very consistent and all of the squares are uniform. The flavors are well balanced between the white and dark chocolate. The peppermint candy flakes are a very light dusting and there isn't any crunch to it. Another way of saying it, is it doesn't have much "bark!" If you want a candy cane crunch you won't find it here. In general, the chocolate is smooth and the flavors are mild. You won't be disappointed, but it won't knock your socks off either.
