A Providence College basketball player charged in a domestic incident was ordered held without bail on Monday.

Alyn Breed is facing charges is in a domestic incident occurred off-campus on Saturday.

According to police, the junior guard went to get some belongings from his ex-girlfriend's house in Providence. Kristin Winat, 33, claim Breed entered her bedroom, found her with another man and pointed a Glock handgun at her.

"He left the bedroom, left the apartment and fled down the street," said Meg McDonough Esq. with the Department of the Attorney General.

Police said he then got into Winat's car and drove back to PC, calling campus security to guard his dorm room door.

"Police searched not only my clients dorm, his friends' dorm rooms, the trash in the dorm, there was no firearm located," said Breed's attorney, Maria Deaton.

Police also went to Winat's house where she told them Breed broke a vase of flowers from her guest in a "fit of rage."

According to court documents, Breed is facing a total of seven charges, including a domestic violence felony charge, a first-degree robbery felony charge, and a domestic violence vandalism misdemeanor charge.

He is also facing a gun charge and is accused of driving his ex-girlfriend's vehicle without her consent.

Deaton said Winat is now trying to take back her allegations.

"It's noted in the report she then contacts the police and states, 'I was intoxicated a lot of what I said may not be how it went down,'" Deaton said.

Providence College has suspended Breed from the men’s basketball team.

Breed has a status conference hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
