Attleboro's special election for mayor went ahead as planned Tuesday, despite a snowstorm impacting the region.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"Please stay updated on the weather forecast and take advantage of the later hours the polls will be open," the Attleboro Board of Election Commissioners said in a statement Monday.
Acting Mayor Jay DiLisio, City Council member Cathleen DeSimone, former City Council member John Davis, and Timothy Barone are on the ballot.
The election will fill the seat left vacant when Paul Heroux resigned to became Bristol County sheriff.
Meanwhile, New Bedford said all five polling locations would be open for its Ward 3 special election on Tuesday.
