NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WJAR) — New Bedford police made two felony arrests in separate incidents on Saturday night.
Officers were called around 7 p.m. for a report of a man with a gun at Funz Trampoline Park.
Police said 32-year-old Chantra Say of Fall River tried to hand a bag over to someone else when he saw officers, and when they refused, he threw it into a garbage bin and tried to take off.
He was arrested after a struggle and officers found a loaded handgun with 13 rounds in the bag Say tried to get rid of.
He was charged with carrying a high-capacity firearm, possession of ammunition, and resisting arrest.

Police were then called to a reported shots fired incident in the city’s south end around 11 p.m. near Cove Street and Rodney French Boulevard.
Police said 22-year-old Wilber Alvarado ran away when he saw an officer and went into a house on South Second Street.
The officer arrested Alvarado and found that he hid a handgun in a bag of potting soil on the second-floor porch.
The officer also found two baggies of crack cocaine on Alvarado.
He faces charges including disorderly conduct, possession and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, and possession of a class B substance.
