Pawtucket's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade marched through the wind and rain on Saturday.

Families lined up along Division Street to see the bagpipe performers, dancers, and floats.

Many went to the Pawtucket Armory Arts Center afterwards to warm up and relax with a pint of beer.

Among the sea of green was Rhode Island Lt. Gov. Sabina Matos.

"I love celebrating all the cultures that Rhode Island has, that's what makes our state so special," Matos said.

Colleen LaDuke grew up in Pawtucket and loves bringing her family to the parade each year.

"My kids do Irish step dance in Cumberland and they're actually going to be performing here today," she told NBC 10 News. "It's nice to have them see where I grew up and have some fun at the parade I always belonged to."

She said she loves coming back to her hometown for the annual festivities.

"It's like a high school reunion every year when I come back," she said.
