A Cumberland man at the center of the country's largest known seizure of meth-laced pills was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Thursday.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for Rhode Island said 27-year-old Dylan Rodas has been detained since his arrest on March 28, 2022.

Rodas told DEA Drug Task Force agents about how and where he packaged and stored the drugs, as well as where he kept other substances and firearms including illegal ghost guns.

Federal agents seized over 660,000 counterfeit pills made to look like the ADHD medication Adderall, weighing about 660 pounds, methamphetamine powder, fake Oxycodone-laced pills, 250 grams of cocaine, $15,000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said it was believed to be the largest seizure of counterfeit Adderall pills and among the largest single methamphetamine seizures by the DEA’s New England Field Division.

Rodas pleaded guilty to trafficking charges in September.

He was sentenced to serve 10 years in federal prison followed by five years of federal supervised release. He will also have to pay a $5,000 fine.
