Temperatures have been a big part of the forecast recently and that won't change this Thursday.

We are nearly above the freezing mark, keeping precipitation mainly as rain this morning, but use caution and be on the lookout for icy concerns early.

Temperatures are expected to drop during the afternoon hours, which means the rain showers on a northeasterly wind could become freezing drizzle once again.

This continues overnight into Friday, and a light glaze is possible for a wide area with more of an icing risk in northern Rhode Island.

Should we accumulate over 0.1," there may be a risk for some isolated power loss in addition to dangerous travel.

Finally, this system pulls offshore Friday morning. Temperatures will be near 40 degrees in the morning but then drop throughout the day.

It will also be far windier, with frigid wind chills overnight and into Saturday.

Thanks for reading, and stay with Storm Team 10 as we watch the forecast throughout the day.
