A man indicted on 14 counts of child molestation and sexual assault was ordered held without bail on Monday.

A statewide grand jury indicated Luke Gedeon last week on the 14 charges, including first-degree and second-degree child molestation and numerous first-degree sexual assault charges.

Gedon pleaded not guilty to all 14 charges. He appeared in Washington County Superior Court in handcuffs.

The reading of the indictment was waived, so specific details about the charges against him are not yet known.

Court documents were not available.

According to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, the alleged acts occurred on multiple dates between Jan. 1, 2012, and Sept. 1, 2022, in South Kingstown.

Gedeon was ordered held without bail and was given a no-contact order.

He is due back in court in April for a pretrial conference.
