Firefighters were called to Tumbletown 2 in West Warwick on Tuesday night where officials say a fire broke out.

West Warwick Fire Chief Jeffrey Varone said crews responded to the laundromat on Main Street for a small dryer fire.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly, according to Varone.

Varone said the building itself is sound but two laundry units are significantly damaged with four others also showing minimal damage.

Varone said he is unsure if the laundromat will be open on Wednesday.

No injuries were reported.

The arson investigation team was on the scene trying to determine a cause.
