The last full week of February, 2023, in Southern New England will start off mild Monday, with a mix of sun and clouds. Expect high temperatures well into the 50s.

However, cooler air, along with a relatively weak 'wave' of Low Pressure pushing across the region, may bring some mixed snow-rain early Tuesday morning.

That's expected to be followed by some midday sun-peeks, and another round of mostly rain showers in the afternoon into the early evening.

The daylight hours of Wednesday are expected to be precipitation-free. However, the third system this week pushes in Wednesday night. There will be cold Canadian High Pressure to our North, as the Low Pressure pushes this way from the Midwest. Ripples of Low Pressure are forecast to move across the area, that may trap enough cold air on a northeast flow to bring mixed precipitation, at least through Thursday morning, before likely changing to rain. The greatest chance of accumulating snow from this one is expected in Central and Northern New England.

Once that system departs overnight Thursday, it'll be followed by sharply colder but dry air Friday into Saturday.
