Opponents of abortion demonstrate outside State House

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Dozens of anti-abortion demonstrators gathered in front of the Rhode Island State House Saturday morning.

The event was hosted by the Rhode Island Right to Life Committee.

Those in attendance were commemorating the lives lost to legal abortion.

It comes just days after abortion-rights advocates and state leaders showed support of a proposed expansion of abortion access in Rhode Island.
