The 1834 Foundation welcomes our second cohort of 1834 Global Fellows, a phenomenal selection of trailblazing Black youth from all across Canada! These young leaders will embark on a 5-month journey to refine their skills in global affairs and engage with international organizations to address critical issues affecting Black communities on a global scale. The program's mission is to support the skill and career development of high-potential Black youth who wish to enter or increase their capacity for global civic leadership roles. This program is not only an opportunity for the Fellows to learn from seasoned global affairs experts and thought leaders, but also a chance for them to build a powerful network of peers, mentors, and allies who share a profound commitment to addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by Black communities globally. As we welcome our second cohort, let us celebrate the extraordinary talents and excellence embodied by Black youth in Canada. The 1834 Foundation eagerly anticipate's the impact they will make as Canada's future ambassadors, diplomats, and global affairs leaders. #1834Global
