Purpose of AWSA
AWSA was created to encourage and support Ahmadi Women to become leaders in their fields of scientific specialization and to use their knowledge to help the community, under the guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba).
Any woman who is a member of the Ahmadi Muslim community can join AWSA. Current members include scientists, professors, health care providers, students, and citizen scientists.
AWSA hopes to:
- interpret and share scientific research in the light of Islamic teaching
- foster education in the sciences
- mentor women at different stages in their education
- provide a platform for communication between members and the community
- develop scientific knowledge for the good of humankind.
