Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Seattle Arts Leadership Conference, which will be held at Seattle University on Saturday, March 2, 2019, between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
The Conference is seeking proposals that reflect the theme of [RE]CONNECT, Courageous Arts Leadership in Turbulent Times. Like many times in history, our world has become disjointed into us versus them, establishments of ‘other’, and confusion. This conference theme is intended to bravely and boldly call out issues and encourage change through our leadership. As Arts Leaders, it is our responsibility to act as a conduit for connecting people and ideas.
We welcome you to submit a proposal that encompasses the ideas of connection, togetherness, and unity. Exemplary proposals should address community and personal connections created through the arts, illustrate ideas through a socially just and equitable lens, and focus on issues that impact a diverse range of practitioners and organizations.
Submission deadline: Monday, January 14, 2019
Applicants notified: Friday, February 1, 2019
