2021-2022 North Gwinnett Junior Bulldogs
 
The purpose of the North Gwinnett Junior Bulldog Program is to create a feeder program which will enhance the competitive cheerleading program at North Gwinnett High School. Therefore, all participants in grades 6-8 must live in the North Gwinnett district. Male and female athletes will compete on a GHSA competition mat following GHSA rules and regulations.  The Junior Bulldogs will compete at 4 competitions which will be offered at local high schools. The program will allow our cluster’s athletes to learn the skills, style and judging criteria needed to compete at the high school level.

Athletes must live in the North Gwinnett District. Upcoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders are all eligible. A try-out will be held at Cheer & Dance Atlanta (Duluth) at on May 13th 6-8pm.  All participants should wear black shorts and a white top.  Parents/Guardians will be asked to remain in their cars during the evaluation.  The size of the team will be determined based on skills at try-outs, however, our goal is to increase skills through the team for the high school level so no tumbling requirement is listed.
 
The selected teams will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays 5-7pm at CDA June through October.
 
Competitions will be in September and October on four scheduled Saturdays.
