THE PUMPKIN CHALLENGE
Are 5Ks getting a little too easy? Try our Pumpkin Challenge for an additional $5.00! You choose a pumpkin, up to 10 lbs, to be your race buddy! You can carry it on your shoulder, on your head, in your arms, however you want, as long as it makes it across the finish line with you and intact, you'll earn one of the Pumpkin Challenge framed certificates! Plus, you get to keep the pumpkin. That means you have a chance to win a certificate and a medal! Enter our Costume Contest for a chance to win a very unique trophy too!! Be sure to check the box below if you're interested. Challengers will be limited to 25.

ABOUT US
The Pine Tree Association is a non-profit organization that supports members of the military and their families with social and recreational activities (like this 5K, an annual Holiday Party and the Easter Egg-stravaganza), financial help to those in need, flowers to Soldiers/family members for funerals, new baby gift baskets, and retirement and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) gifts to Soldiers of 3rd Battalion, 166th Regiment Non-Commissioned Officers Academy. We also support the Soldiers who attend our classes, Basic Leader Course (BLC). We provide financial aid to students in need and reward the Distinguished Honor Graduate, Distinguished Leader and Iron Warrior of each class for their hard work .

Some of the proceeds from this 5K fundraiser will be used later this year for our annual Holiday party and next year in support of the 3rd Easter Egg-stravaganza, open to the friends and families of the service members who work at Fort Indiantown Gap.

Our ability to provide these morale boosting events and services heavily relies on donations, sponsorships and fundraising. Without your help, we would not be able to do the things that we do. We are humbled by and grateful for your assistance in making our visions become reality.

Your pre-registration (before September 30) fee guarantees a Haunted Hustle t-shirt. Limited quantities/sizes will be available at the registration table for walk on participants and those who register after Sept. 30 and will be first come, first served. ***T-shirts are not included for children 7 and under.*** However, you can pre-order additional shirts below, if you are registering before Sept. 30. Extra t-shirts may be available for purchase after the race. Also, after the race, shirts of runners that did not show up and did not make arrangements for pick up will be made available to those runners that signed up race day.  If you want your shirt, but cannot make the race, please have another runner pick yours up or contact us prior to the race to make arrangements for pick up.
Pre-Order Additional T-shirts
If you would like to pre-order additional T-shirts, please enter the quantity and sizes below, separated by commas. This may be used for ordering children's shirts if they are 7 years old or under. The additional cost of $10 per shirt should be added to your check payment or will be added to your PayPal invoice when sent to you.

Around the entirety of Memorial Lake. Mostly flat, paved road with one steep hill; mixture of woodland and field surroundings.
Route Description *
The race starts and ends at the Middle Road pavilion at Memorial Lake State Park at Fort Indiantown Gap and loops around the lake. It is mostly flat, paved road with one steep downhill and a more gradual uphill. There's a mixture of woodland and field surroundings. Water will be available at the pavilion and half‐way point. Clock at the finish line. Immediate results will be posted after the race. All results posted on www.facebook.com/ThePineTree by Oct. 30. Method of Payment *
The PRE-registration fee is $20 for participants 18 years and older, $12 for 8 to 17 year olds and those 7 and under are FREE. If you choose to pay by PayPal and your initial registration information has been received, The Pine Tree Association will email you an invoice, which will include a $1.00 fee to cover the cost of using PayPal.  You do not need to have a PayPal account to send payment.  If paying by check, please send your check written to "The Pine Tree Association" to SSG Jennie Hendrix, Bldg 8-80, FTIG, Annville, PA 17003.  Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will incur a $30 fee. Registration will not be marked complete until payment has been received. Registration after September 30, including at the event, will be:  $25 (18 years old and up), $17 (8 to 17 years old) and children 7 and under are FREE.
DISCOUNT CODES
SPONSORS - Title and Mile Marker Sponsors receive complimentary race entries. T-shirt and Goodie Bag sponsors receive a 50% discount on their entry fees. Enter the sponsor company name here. ALL - Your basic race entry fee will be adjusted appropriately on your PayPal invoice. If you choose to purchase additional shirts, accept the Pumpkin Challenge, etc., these will be included on the invoice, as these are additional fundraisers for which the discount does not apply.
