ARPA Community Organization Sign-on
We have created this letter and it will be sent to the city in order to bring transparency between community-based organizations and the city about these American Rescue Plan dollars.

ARPA is the country’s first direct relief to help Americans get back on their feet. Through this act,  The city of Tulsa has been allocated $88 Million, while Tulsa County has been allocated $126 Million. With these dollars, community-based organizations can then propose to each, addressing why they are requesting money and how it will possibly be used. The federal government has expressed the broadness of the use of this money but also highlighted that it is COVID-19 response, it encourages community input and equity focus, unlike CARES.
