A Note from Nichole

Healing and Resilience with Mindfulness brings together two of my passions- mindfulness and tending to mental health, both of which I have been practicing in some way or form over the last 18 years. I decided to bring these two passions together into a program because, in my private practice and in my life, I see how powerful even small bits of supported mindfulness practice are, and also that mindfulness alone as a path for healing can feel intimidating and even confusing. This program is my effort to bring together the gems of awareness practice and targeted one to one work gently and sustainably transform stress into the wisdom of lived experience.


Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an internationally recognized, evidence-based course designed to guide and support participants in the ongoing process of cultivating moment to moment awareness in day to day life in an in-depth and systematic way. The curriculum is trauma informed and I stay up to date on research to teach the course in an evidence informed and trauma sensitive way.

 For those who bring mindfulness into their professional work, this course can be an excellent way to continue on your mindfulness training journey.


Is this program for me?


Folks who will benefit:

*Professionals at risk for burnout or compassion fatigue (healthcare, corporate, civil service, education, law)

*Folks on a journey to reduce or eliminate anxiety, post trauma impact, or problematic anger

*Those struggling with stress levels, problems exacerbated by stress, or stressful life transition

*Anyone already creating a well lifestyle and wants to focus on the mindfulness aspect of the path, or adopt a non judgmental awareness through a life transition

This Full program is highly experiential, provides robust support, and is a community learning environment. We are learning from the inside out.

The LITE program is more flexible and focuses on home practices and email support with NO GROUP OR CLASS COMMITMENT.

Full and LITE programs both can include individual therapy sessions.

Healing and Resilience with Mindfulness combines the evidence based Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction curriculum with 2 follow up groups after completion of the 8 week course, email support in between classes, recordings of missed classes (for those in the Full program), and supportive course materials via the online class portal.

Individual therapy sessions with Nichole, including solution focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (CBT + mindfulness and acceptance) and/or EMDR can be included with your Healing and Resilience program. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Individual sessions can be scheduled before, during, and after the 12 week group program. And can be via telehealth or in person in Ridgway, CO.

Due to licensure laws, individual therapy appointments are only available to residents of CO and OH.

Full program

The weekly class is via Zoom and the Daylong class will have an option to meet in person in Ridgway, CO. There will be an online option for those who can't attend in person due to distance, illness, or preference.

Once you register for your program (LITE or Full), you will receive a follow up email from Nichole with onboarding forms and an option to include individual sessions. Therapy modalities available include EMDR, CBT, DBT, Ego States, and KAP.

Note that working with me and participating in all of the resources offered does require a basic level of digital fluency- including accessing Zoom meetings from your device, signing into different platforms for course materials, billing, etc., emailing, and using hyperlinks.
