My Students

We have awesome students that deserve the best! This community is growing and as a school we want to contribute! We want to be part of the change.

This project is our way of giving back to these wonderful kids and break up the school day by being outside, while still learning.

We want to promote student achievement and growth in all areas. Students want to be challenged, but they also want to have fun. Being able to teach in the great outdoors would be a huge treat for students.

My Project

These materials will benefit our students by creating an outdoor classroom. The benches will allow a comfortable place for students to sit, chairs for the teachers, and pencils and clipboards for students to complete their work. The portable dry-erase board will help with instruction and assist in student learning.

Students spend much of their time confined in a four wall classroom with little interactions outside, and these materials would help CMS create an outdoor classroom to enhance our learning and get students interested in academics while enjoying the outdoors.

The outdoor classroom could be utilized by all grade levels and content areas. Students need to be able to move around and enjoy the sunshine.
