My Students

I have a great group of students who love to learn traditionally and with the addition of technology. They love to read and do projects, and they have grown up with computers and tech devices. They talk a lot because they have so much to share. They love being creative and sharing their work and their interests with each other.

I am lucky that my students are so hardworking, love to read, and want to do their best on everything.

They push themselves and each other to work harder and be their best. I enjoy being with them every day and watching them grow and mature academically as well as socially.

My Project

My classroom is designed to allow students to work together and develop projects using a variety of materials. We have several school owned laptops in the classrooms which the students use for research and projects like PowerPoint and Microsoft Movie Maker. I want my students to be able to experience making presentations and projects using Apple products as well as Microsoft products to provide variety in their presentations. This iPad is the beginning of a class set that I would like to have to allow greater choice and differentiation in their product development. They will be able to use different applications such as iMovie and Stop Motion video production that is not available on the classroom laptops.
