Rarely disagree with you Marshall, but I do here. Feedback is always forward looking. It is meant to either give encouragement to keep doing a behavior (positive feedback) or correct a behavior negative feedback). The issue is everyone has bought into all feedback being negative. A good manager gives more positive than negative feedback and knows that feedback is designed to help future performance. I like the ideas you mention, but let’s teach people how to do feedback well instead of introducing new concepts that really do the same thing.

I never thought of the word "feedback" where we were looking backwards. I like feedforward I will remember that. Very positive Marshall. By the way you were one person who influenced me in learning about the teaching of Buddhism . I am really enjoying it. thanks,
