Andrew Pryor formerly of Clarksville announced as Gold Winner for International HR Executive of the Year

ECi Software Solutions is proud to announce that Andrew Pryor, Senior Vice President of Human Resources has been named by the International Business Awards as the Gold Winner for International Human Resources Executive of The Year.  The International Business Awards (The Stevie® Awards) are the world’s premier business awards.  They were created in 2002 to honor the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, Pryor will be honored along with other global business professionals from around the world during a formal black-tie ceremony in London, England to celebrate the presentation of The 15th Annual International Business Awards®.

Pryor is the son of Ed and Helen Pryor of Clarksville and the brother of Sunni Baird, also of Clarksville.  He was raised in Clarksville and is a 1984 graduate of Clarksville High School.  He holds an Associate’s Degree from Paris Junior College and a Bachelor’s Degree The University of Texas at Arlington.  Upon graduating from UTA, he was named a White House Intern by President George H. W. Bush.

For the past eleven years, Pryor has served on the Advisory Board of Directors for the University of Texas at Arlington’s School of Business and Graduate MBA Programs.  He is a past president of the Society for Human Resources Management’s Fort Worth Chapter and served on the Board of Directors for ten years.

Pryor currently serves as Senior Vice President of ECi Software Solutions, one of the world’s largest software companies.  Focusing on Small to Medium Size Businesses, ECi has 14,500 worldwide customers and 3 million users accessing its software and e-commerce solutions each month.  ECi is privately owned by Apax Partners, a private equity investment group headquartered in London, England.  ECi is comprised of over 20 different acquisitions and mergers and currently sells 19 different Enterprise Resources Planning software products to businesses world-wide.

Pryor has over 30 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, Mergers and Acquisitions.  Before coming to ECi, Andrew served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Anthelio Healthcare in Dallas.  Anthelio was owned by ACTIS Capital a private equity investment firm located in London, England and Johannesburg, South Africa.  Prior to Anthelio, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for BerylHealth which was named the Second Best Company to Work For in America.

In 2012, Pryor co-authored the book SMILE GUIDE – Employee Perspectives on Culture, Loyalty and Profit.  In addition to begin named International Human Resources Executive of the Year, Andrew has also been recognized as winner of the 2018 Award of Excellence Communicator Award, 2018 Gold Winner of an AVA Digital Award and 2018 Gold Winner of a Hermes Creative Award. 

Pryor married his college sweetheart, Amy, and currently lives in Colleyville, Texas.  They have two children, Chloe (17) and Elijah (13) and two awesome rescue dogs, Chris and Thomas.  Pryor’s parents, Ed and Helen Pryor are life-long residents of Clarksville where his father serves as a contributing writer for the Clarksville Times.
