TO GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY VALUES...

Critical fire weather conditions are expected across much of
eastern New Mexico on this afternoon and early evening. Strong
westerly winds combined with several hours of relative humidity
values below 15 percent will allow fire to spread in dry and
receptive fuels. Winds will increase by mid day before decreasing
around sunset. Pretty similar weather conditions are expected on
Saturday, therefore another round of critical fire weather
conditions is expected across eastern NM. Minimum relative
humidity values below 15 percent and stronger southwest winds are
also expected across the lower Rio Grande Valley in Socorro
County resulting in critical fire weather conditions in this area.

* 20 FOOT WINDS... Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts between 30 to
  35 mph on Saturday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 10 and 15 percent
  Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
