Welcome! Bethesda Friends Meeting is excited to announce that as of March 21, 2021 we will resume offering limited in-person outdoor Meeting for Worship under tents on the Sidwell Friends School Lower School campus. To avoid overcrowding (and to facilitate contact tracing if necessary), Friends will need to register in advance via this form, by Friday of each week. Please complete the questions below and click Submit if you plan to attend.
    - Meeting for Worship will begin at 11:00AM, rain or shine.
    - Virtual Meeting for Worship on Zoom will continue as usual at the same time, and a laptop will be present under the tent.
    - Friends should check the weather and dress accordingly.

Friends are reminded that the COVID-19 pandemic is still with us.  The following safety measures MUST be adhered to, regardless of whether a person has been vaccinated:
     • Masks must be worn at all times.
     • If you are feeling at all ill, have a fever, have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who has recently tested positive, please do not attend.  
     • Social distancing must be maintained at all times. Friends will not shake hands, hug or otherwise get closer than 6 feet. Chairs under the tents will be at least 6 feet apart (except that family members may sit together).
     • We are not encouraging Friends to take any risks that they are not totally comfortable taking.

As of June 20, we will hold “playground supervision” for children ages 3-13. Our paid, vaccinated providers will supervise children in the playground or a tent area while parents are worshiping. Everyone should have a mask and water bottle. Restrooms are available.
