The Shannon Szabados Award for outstanding goaltender will be presented to both the junior (U9 to U13) and senior (U15 to U18) goaltenders who have demonstrated sound, and consistent abilities throughout the season.

They model consistency, perseverance, determination, growth, and hard work, to their teammates and maintain positive conduct and attitude on and off the ice.

This award will consider statistics but will not be solely based on them and more focused on the qualities previously described.

Bench Staff, players and parents (with no relation to the nominee) associated with the Collingwood Girls Hockey Association are eligible to submit a nomination for the Szabados Goaltending Award.
