Biography

2017-18 (Junior): Finished his junior season with a record of 13-7 and was 2-2 in duals ... finished in fourth at 141 pounds at the Daktronics Open (Nov. 5) ... took sixth at 141 pounds at the Dakota Wesleyan Open (Nov. 11) ... recorded five falls and one major decision on the year.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Concluded the season with an 18-11 overall record and went 5-5 (2-3 NSIC) in duals … took first at the Dakota Wesleyan Open (Nov. 12) and the Hastings Cusatis Open (Jan. 7) … recorded a team-high seven major decisions on the year … recorded 35 takedowns and was second on the team with 42 escapes and third with nine reversals. 

2015-16 (Redshirt Freshman): Posted a 19-8 record on the year ... going 9-3 in the duals ... took home third at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on Nov. 14 ... went 0-2 at the Super Region 3 Championship ... recorded three falls on the year ... went 8-6 in decisions ... has four major decisions on the year ... third on the team in takedowns with 36.

2014-15 (Freshman): Sat out season as a redshirt ... wrestled unattached in all competitions ... finished 4-5 against Division II opponents … posted a 19-13 overall record at 141 pounds ... recorded 12 victories by decision, one major decision, and three pins ... finished first at the DWU Open on Nov. 15 …  placed second at the Viking-Warrior Open on Jan. 3 ... took sixth-place at the Hasting Cusatis Open on Jan. 10 … finished fourth at the Worthington Open on Jan. 17.

High School: 2014 graduate of Watertown-Elysian-Morristown High School ... four-year starter and letterwinner ... set school record for wins, tech. falls, and takedowns in his senior season, finishing with a 44-2 record and a third-place finish in the Minnesota Class AA Tournament ... finished career with 148-49 record, collecting four All-Conference accolades four times ... served as team captain during junior and senior campaigns ... qualified for the state tournament three times.
