2021-22 (Senior): Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Earned NWCA DII Scholar All-American honors…Named to the All-NSIC Second-Team…Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors…Held an overall record of 19-8…Recorded 10 technical falls, 27 takedowns, 33 four-point nearfalls, eight reversals and 21 escapes.

2020-21 (Senior): Broke the Augustana career record for tech falls with his 23rd tech fall in the dual with MSU Moorhead… Earned NSCA All-America honors… Earned NWCA Scholar All-America honors… NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2019-20 (Sophomore): Went 15-13 overall and 7-5 in duals at 197 pounds with two falls, one major decision and seven tech falls… Earned a first-place finish at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on Nov. 9… Recorded 22 takedowns, seven reversals, 29 escapes, three two-point nearfalls, 20 four-point nearfalls and five riding time points... Earned NWCA Division II Scholar All-America honors... Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2018-19 (Redshirt Freshman): Academic All-NSIC… Had an overall record of 18-16 at 184 pounds… Took first place the DWU Open on Nov. 10… had two falls, 11 tech falls, and three major decisions.

2017-18 (Freshman): Sat out as a redshirt, wrestling unattached in all competition ... NWCA All-Academic ...posted a record of 20-5 ... was the top finisher at the Worthington Open (Jan. 20) and the Ridgewater Open (Jan. 6) ... took second at the Sioux City Open (Feb. 3), the Warrior-Viking Open (Dec. 30), the BVU Open (Dec. 2) and the Dakota Wesleyan Open (Nov. 11) ... finished in fifth at the Yellowjacket Open (Nov. 4) ... had five falls, four tech falls and two major decisions on the season.

High School: 2017 graduate of Hinton High School in Hinton, Iowa ... compiled a record of 168-22 over his high school career … placed second as a junior, third as a senior and fourth as a sophomore at the state tournament … three-time first team all-conference honoree … named first team academic all-state twice … three times named team MVP … four-year letterwinner.

Personal: Son of Darwin and Jackie Bishop … born on Aug. 18, 1998 in Sioux City, Iowa … plans to major in Biology with aspirations of becoming a Psychiatrist.
