Man Assaulted After Leaving Club in Providence - Dragged From Car and Hit With Crowbar

A man was injured early Sunday morning, following a fight that occurred at a Providence club.
About Incident
Police were called shortly before 2 AM Sunday morning to Regent Avenue, for a report of an assault.

Witnesses told police that there had been a fight between the victim and a group of male suspects at TaFino Lounge on Valley Street.
Police said they were told the victim then left the club in his vehicle, and a group of suspects got into their cars and followed him.
One of the suspects then reportedly crashed into the bumper of the victim’s car, at which time multiple individuals got out.
The assailants reportedly smashed windows of the victim’s vehicle with baseball bats before dragging him out of the car — and assaulting him with a crowbar.
The suspects then reportedly fled the scene before police were called.
