The National Weather Service is predicting one to three inches of snow for parts of Rhode Island on Monday.

More snow is in the forecast midweek.

Today: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 3pm. High near 37. Northwest wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight: A chance of snow, mainly before 9pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 41. West wind 8 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 25. West wind 5 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Snow, mainly after 3pm. High near 37. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow before 10pm, then rain and snow between 10pm and 11pm, then rain after 11pm. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 32. Windy, with an east wind 14 to 19 mph increasing to 24 to 29 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Thursday: Rain, mainly before 9am. High near 51. Windy, with a southwest wind 23 to 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a west wind 16 to 24 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 35. West wind 11 to 14 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind 6 to 8 mph becoming southwest after midnight.
