Wind Chills As Low As 35 Below Zero Possible in RI Starting Thursday Night

The National Weather Service is predicting wind chills as low as 35 degrees below zero in Rhode Island. 

The wind chill watch -- issued on Wednesday afternoon -- also warns frostbite will be possible after 30 minutes during the adverse weather event.

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills possible. Wind chills as low as 35 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern, northeastern, southeastern and western Massachusetts and northern and southern Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From late Thursday night through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
