Newly available Rhode Island State Police documents relating to the State’s prosecution of Dino Guilmette unveil that there are allegations that there was a deeper relationship between Dino Guilmette and Elizabeth McGraw.

Guilmette, a Rhode Island boxer, made national news when it was disclosed that he fathered a child with Aaron Hernandez’ former fiancée Shayanna Jenkins. Hernandez was the New England Patriots star who was convicted of murder and committed suicide in 2017.

Guilmette is presently facing multiple felony charges.

As GoLocal exclusively reported in December, Elizabeth McGraw and her husband, Gerald “Gerry” regularly socialized with Guilmette, according to a State Police affidavit. Gerry McGraw is the President and CEO of Rhode Island’s largest compassion center — the Thomas C. Slater Compassion Center — selling millions of dollars of cannabis annually.

He has served as a founding member of the National Cannabis Industry Association since 2011.

This year McGraw was awarded one of the highly coveted retail cannabis-selling licenses by the State of Rhode Island. Elizabeth McGraw is directly involved with the management of the new retail operations at Slater.

Documents Show Allegations of Deeper Relationship — Funding Cocaine

New documents submitted to the court cite an affidavit by the lead investigator in the Guilmette case, Rhode Island State Police Detective Matthew Lynch, who, during the course of the development of this case, utilized five sources — that are only identified as numbers in court documents.

“Source Five told your Affiant [Lynch] that he has seen Guilmette within the last six months in possession of large quantities of cocaine,” states the document.

“Source Five reported to your Affiant that he suspects that Elizabeth McGraw is supplying the money, also referred to as ‘fronting,’ to Dino Guilmette for these large scale cocaine shipments. Source Five admitted that Elizabeth McGraw is substantially compensated from the profits of this cocaine operation by Guilmette and his associates,” states the State Police documents.

According to a court-approved search warrant on Guilmette's phone during this period of the investigation found, there were hundreds of calls between Guilmette and Elizabeth McGraw each month.

As an example, according to State Police documents, "An analysis of the records between June 27, 2020 — July 26, 2020, indicated Target Telephone I [Guilmette] was used approximately 3,478 times...Specifically, Guilmette had contact with a cellular telephone number subscribed to Gerald McGraw, but believed to be used by Elizabeth McGraw, amounting to 410 voice calls and 7 texts, 417 total during this period."

“Source Five has first-hand knowledge that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of cocaine by Guilmette are paid directly to [Matthew] Gugliemetti to show Guilmette’s allegiance to the NELCN [New England La Cosa Nostra],” states Lynch’s affidavit.

Matthew Louis Guglielmetti Jr., also known as "Matty," is the underboss of the New England-based Patriarca crime family of La Cosa Nostra.

Lynch claims Source Five has been high credibly.

“During the months of August and September 2021, your affiant along with Detectives [first name] O’Neill and [Tyler] Denniston were contacted by a previously reliable confidential source, hereinafter referred to as Source Five, also in a masculine gender to protect his or her identity. Source Five has provided information to your Affiant and members of the Intelligence Unit [of the State Police] that has resulted in the successful arrest of an individual in possession of large quantities of illegal narcotics.”

Lynch adds “To your Affiant’s Knowledge, Source Five has also never provided information to the State Police that has proven to be false.”
