More than 30 of the top prep schools will participate, including three NBA Academy teams, three teams from Canada, and teams from Italy, the Czech Republic and Sweden. Of the 62 game slots, 27 are allocated to international teams. Last year, coaches from over 45 colleges and scouts from 15 NBA teams attended, along with national and local media.

“This event has helped bring international visitation and some of the top talent from across the country right here to Rhode Island for several years,” said RISC Director John Gibbons. “We are extremely happy to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the NPSI at Rhode Island College, who has been a key partner in bringing this event back to the Ocean State year after year."

More than 150 Division I recruits will participate in this year’s tournament, adding to the 1,000 Division I college players that have showcased their talents at the NPSI since its inception.

The Rhode Island Sports Commission is a division of the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau whose mission is to enrich the Rhode Island economy and community through the attraction, promotion and development of sporting events and associated meetings.
