Finance & Advertising: The finance & advertising staff fills our newspaper and website with ads from local businesses, Dartmouth departments, and national clients. Members of the F&A staff foster close business relationships with clients to develop advertising plans that best meet the clients' goals and also have the opportunity to earn $$$ commission on their sales. Additionally, the staff is responsible for monitoring and compiling the paper's quarterly financial performance and statements which are presented to the board of directors.

Marketing & Communications (formerly Operations & Marketing): This staff focuses on all things marketing -- from recruiting new members, to running our social media pages, to planning panels. They also connect current students with our awesome The Dartmouth alumni by planning alumni networking events. Finally, they plan all of the fun stuff -- wine & cheese, group activities, and our annual Banquet.

Product Development: Product Development stems from various projects run by our marketing and strategy teams over the past several terms. The D is looking to diversify our revenue streams, and this is the team that's going to figure out how. We have a few ideas cooking -- a store, a book -- and this is the perfect time to get in on the ground floor of the future of The D.

Strategy: The strategy staff answers The D's hardest questions. What needs to change about our distribution? Should we continue to publish daily? How do we launch a new website? Strategy works closely in teams to tackle these problems and more each term.

Technology: Interested in a career in tech? This is the perfect opportunity to get real world experience. Help us design our app, troubleshoot problems with the website, and build unique webpages for special articles.
