2019 Seismology Student Workshop Registration and Abstract Submission
If you are submitting an abstract, you may optionally also submit a figure. Please send the figure to seismo.workshop@gmail.com with the following subject line: "LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME, SSW FIGURE SUBMISSION."

The 2019 SSW will be held on Thursday March 21 and Friday March 22 at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory in Palisades, New York. Participants typically arrive on Wednesday March 20 in the afternoon or evening and leave on Saturday March 23. We will collect a $50 registration fee at the beginning of the workshop from all participants. Three nights at a hotel will be covered for all attendees, as well as all meals during the workshop. We ask that you carpool with other participants if possible. If there are more applicants than spots available, we will give preference to applicants that submitted a talk or poster.

This year, a generous sponsorship from the Seismological Society of America allows us to subsidize travel expenses to make the workshop more accessible for people who live outside the NY area. Our process for selecting workshop participants is need-blind. If you would like travel assistance, please include details about your travel in this form by the application deadline. We will respond to applicants shortly after the deadline with the amount to which we can subsidize their travel expenses.

Abstract submission deadline is January 15, 2019.
