Penn State EcoReps are student leaders who educate, motivate, and empower their fellow students to adopt sustainable behaviors in the residence halls and other campus facilities by sharing information, hosting interactive events, and modeling sustainable living. If accepted into the EcoRep program, students will be required to take a 3-credit HIED course in the Spring about Sustainability and Behavior Change. If accepted into the program, students will enroll in this course for the spring semester. If you have any questions, please email
psuecoreps@gmail.comEach EcoRep is expected to spend 4-6 hours per week on the program, with 2 hours being allotted for a group meeting each Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8pm. EcoReps will be awarded a $500 scholarship at the end of each semester for their sustainability efforts and work to create change here at Penn State.
