Chancellor's Strategic Plan for Arts Education
In support of Chancellor Carranza’s goal to “create a school system that reflects the best of this diverse, inspiring, and innovative City—a system in which every child has an equal opportunity to not just thrive, but also to succeed beyond their wildest dreams,” the DOE and the Division of Teaching & Learning’s Office of Arts and Special Projects (OASP) are committed to providing equity universal access and excellence in sequential arts education for all New York City public school students as an essential part of a complete education.

You are invited to be part of a discussion to assist the Office of Arts and Special Projects in the development of a Strategic Arts Education Plan as directed by the Chancellor. This meeting will take place on Monday, December 17th from 4pm-6pm at the Department of Cultural Affairs at 31 Chambers Street. We hope you can join us for these exciting conversations to provide feedback and make additional recommendations about providing quality, diverse and culturally arts programs for all NYC students. Please note that we are limiting participation to one representative from each organization and walk-ins cannot be admitted.

To RSVP, please complete the survey below by Friday, December 7, 2018. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your participation at this meeting.  We look forward to seeing you Monday, December 17th!
