Played for Rolling Meadows High School under Kevin Katovich • ranked as a top-2 recruit out of Illinois and ranked 79th nationally by 247Sports.com • named a two-time First Team IBCA All-State and First Team Sun-Times All State selection • finished as the school's second-leading scoring and set a school record 101 three-pointers • averaged 25 points, five rebounds and four assists as a senior • All-Area Boys Basketball Captain • helped Rolling Meadows to a 91-22 record the past four years • As a junior in 2021-22, Christie surpassed 1,000 career points and averaged 22 points at Rolling Meadows • led Rolling Meadows to its first regional title in more than 21 years in 2022 • as a junior, shot 53 percent from the field, was 93 percent at free throw shooter and 42 percent beyond the arc • named conference player of the year and an Under Armour Top 30 list • as a freshman, was an all-area selection and averaged 11 points • played with the Illinois Wolves on the Under Armour club basketball circuit with Mike Mullins.

Parents are Katrina and Max Christie Sr. • graduated from Rolling Meadows in 2023 • undeclared as a major • enjoys video games and music • dad, Max, played basketball at Wisconsin Superior • mother, Katrina, played basketball at Northwestern • brother, Max, played one year at Michigan State before being drafted 35th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022.
