It's been too quiet here for too long, so here's an announcement of our latest product for front-end web development: Golgi.

Our previous proof of concept technology - mg-webComponent - paved the way for Golgi, but it's now a lot slicker and even simpler to use, but a whole lot more powerful.

If you're a front-end web developer and tired of the current vogue of using stuff like WebPack and having to install and configure complex build chains, then you'll love Golgi which goes back to the old days of letting the browser do it all for you, but using all the modern powerful technology that's now built in to modern browsers.

Read all about it here, and try out its live demo, and take the tutorial!

Right on the cutting edge as usual Rob.  The latest version of Vuejs has a new build tool included, called Vite, that does the same for stuff developed with Vuejs.  Good to see M technologies at the front again!

Well actually Golgi has no dependence on M at all. It’s applicable to any back-end tech

Though it would work great with mg-web and QEWD 😀

Thanks Mike. Let me know how you get on with it. I think you’ll particularly like the data binding functionality: it really is like magic.

You’ll see it in action in the demo app, redrawing the graph simply by updating an array. Take a look in the source assembly files

Big new release just pushed out, complete with another live demo, this time the much more complex and demanding RealWorld Conduit UI, delivered as a single page app designed using Golgi.
It has to be one of the lightest-weight and simplest to understand implementations of this standard UI.

The new example makes heavy use of the greatly-enhanced and really slick data binding with Golgi - check out the tutorial and example source code to see how it works.

Also new in this version is a much slicker, declarative way to define event handlers within components.

Everything is described and explained in the updated tutorial document.
