Altenew Exotic Garden Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome back to my blog! It’s time for the May release and I am super thrilled to join Altenew for the Exotic Garden Stamps/Dies/Stencils/Embossing Folders Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the talented Tricia’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.

Project 1

First, I stamped the flower from the Blooming Tulips Stamp Set on an A2 cardstock using Silver Stone, Industrial Diamond and Pure Graphite Crisp Inks. Then I masked it and stamped the stem and the leaves using the same inks. After masking them, I stamped the rainbow background using the stamps from the Painted Rainbow Stamp Set with Vineyard Berry, Orange Cream, Fresh Lemon, Just Green, Tide Blue, Azurite and Hydrangea Crisp Dye Inks. Next, I splattered Jet Black Watercolor on the card panel. I then unmasked the image and added details on it using my coloured pencils. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Stone Mosaic Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Project 2

For this card, I started by embossing the large image from the Enchanting Beauty Stamp Set on an A2 watercolor cardstock using white embossing powder. Then I stamped the other three images using Fresh Lemon Crisp Ink and the sentiment using Hunter Green Crisp Ink and embossed them using clear embossing powder. Next, I inked the background using Fresh Lemon and Hunter Green Crisp Inks along with my blender brushes. After that, I splattered water on the panel and dabbed off the excess using a paper towel. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Project 3

First, I stamped the images from the Dovetail Butterflies Stamp Set on an A2 card base using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I inked the butterflies using the below Crisp Dye Inks.
Butterfly 1: Fresh Lemon and Autumn Blaze
Butterfly 2: Autumn Blaze and Vineyard Berry
Butterfly 3: Pink Pearl, Heart Beat and Grapevine

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Wings of Hope Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink.

Supplies:

Project 4

I stuck the Aztec Art Border Washi Tape on a 4 * 5 1/2 inches card base. Then I stamped the rainbow using the stamps from the Painted Rainbow Stamp Set with Heart Beat, Orange Cream, Fresh Lemon, Just Green, Tide Blue, Azurite and Hydrangea Crisp Dye Inks. I used the edges of the stamp set and stamped some of the smaller splatters using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I stamped the sentiments from the same stamp set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. After that, I stuck strips of Jet Black cardstock on both sides of the card panel and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Supplies:

Project 5

For my last card, I stamped the leaves from the Enchanting Beauty Stamp Set on an A2 watercolor cardstock using Obsidian Pigment Ink and used clear embossing powder to emboss them. Then I coloured them with Emerald, Limeade and Mountain Mist Watercolour Brush Markers. After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Folk Art Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Lastly, I stuck this panel on an A2 card base.
