Altenew Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I am so thrilled to join Altenew for the Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway. You should be arriving here from the awesome Carol’s blog, but if not, you can go back to the start, at the Altenew Card Blog and go from there.

Project 1

First, I cut the pattern paper from the Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection 6×6 Paper Pack to 4 1/4 * 5 1/2 inches using my trimmer. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Next, I used the Mid-Century Frame Die to die cut a frame from Jet Black cardstock. Lastly, I stuck the ephemera from the Pink Posy and Bitty Bits Ephemera Collections on the card panel and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

Project 2

I inked the vase on a piece of white cardstock using the Mod Vase Stencil along with Desert Night Crisp Dye Ink and a blending brush. Then I die cut it using the coordinating die set. Next, I masked the lower portion of an A2 card base using a masking sheet, placed the Stone Wall Stencil on it and inked it using Industrial Diamond Crisp Dye Ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the Be Kind Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink. To add more texture, I splattered Jet Black Watercolor on the card panel.

After that, I die cut a few pieces of Jet Black cardstock using the Linear Crossroads Die and stuck it on the card panel. Next, I stuck the flower from the Bitty Bits Ephemera Collection on the card front and then stuck the vase over it using precision glue.

Project 3

I first trimmed the pattern paper from the Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection 6×6 Paper Pack to 4 * 5 1/2 inches. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Something Wonderful Stamp Set on it using Obsidian Pigment Ink. Then I splattered Jet Black watercolor on the panel. After that, I die cut a piece of Jet black cardstock using the Frilly Frame Die and stuck it on the card front. Next, I stuck a 1/4 inch strip on one side of the card and stuck this panel on an A2 card base.

  1. I love all three cards! Your pairing of items from the release with stand alone dies for framing or accent is perfect. I can see me using Linear Crossroads cut apart like that now that you have shown me how. Great ideas, thanks for the inspiration

  2. Your cards are amazing! Love your designs, the way you have used the papers and die cuts from this collection, and the way you used past releases to make each card special. I especially love card 2….awesome design! Thanks for sharing with us!

  3. Fantastic!!! I just love the color spectrum, and how perfectly the ephemera coordinates with everything ❤️
